Installation Notes:

Before installation, inspect the existing interior door handles and backing plates for wear, damage or missing components.

Carefully remove the original interior door handle using a suitable handle removal tool. Take care not to damage the surrounding door trim, retaining clips or handle mechanism.

Remove the existing backing plate and inspect the door handle mounting area for deterioration or damage.

Compare the replacement green backing plates with the originals to confirm the correct shape, dimensions and fitting arrangement.

Position the new backing plate behind the interior door handle, ensuring it sits evenly against the surrounding door trim.

Refit the interior door handle using the original or compatible retaining hardware, making sure the backing plate remains correctly positioned.

Once installed, operate the door handle several times to confirm smooth movement without rubbing or binding against the backing plate.

Repeat the process for the second backing plate.

Installation Tip: Inspect the condition of the door handle retaining clips while the handles are removed. Worn or damaged clips should be replaced to help prevent loose handles.

Please Note:

This listing is for one pair (2 pieces) of green interior door handle backing plates only.

Interior door handles, retaining clips and additional mounting hardware are not included unless otherwise specified.

Suitable for Ford Falcon XK, XL, XM and XP models with compatible original-style interior door handle arrangements.

Important: Interior trim colours and door handle configurations may vary depending on the vehicle's model, body style, factory trim and previous modifications.

The green finish should be compared with your existing interior trim, as colour shades may differ between original and replacement components.
